Environmental Drilling
H3M’s in-house drilling capabilities are powered by the versatile, highly maneuverable Geoprobe® 7822DT unit, enabling our team to quickly mobilize to remote sites and conduct comprehensive environmental assessments. This equipment plays a key role in performing Preliminary and Detailed Site Assessments, as well as a full range of sub-surface soil sampling and contamination delineation services. By offering these integrated services, we eliminate the need for third-party contractors, streamlining project execution and reducing costs.
Our skilled team, consisting of trained Environmental Professionals who also operate the equipment, ensures that all services are executed with precision, sustainability, and adherence to regulatory compliance. The 7822DT unit allows us to offer the following specialized services:
- Sub-surface soil sampling

- Direct-push sampling system for vertical profiling of soil horizons

H3M’s EM Scanner is a highly efficient, non-invasive tool for assessing subsurface conditions, providing rapid and accurate analysis of soil conductivity. Using electromagnetic induction, the EM31 detects variations in geological conditions, groundwater contaminants, and buried objects without requiring direct ground contact. This makes it an invaluable asset for environmental site assessments, geotechnical investigations, and resource exploration.
With a depth penetration of up to 6 meters, the EM31 provides real-time data that is processed into detailed, colour-coded maps for easy interpretation. Its continuous readout and data collection capabilities significantly increase efficiency compared to conventional resistivity methods. Additionally, its in-phase component excels at identifying buried metallic structures and waste material.
