Post Construction Reclamation Assessment
H3M conducted a comprehensive PCRA, assessing various environmental factors such as topography, soil, vegetation, wetlands, watercourse crossings, and weed distribution along the constructed right-of-way. The team identified over 150 wetlands, seven watercourses, two fish species, twelve rare plant species, five rare ecological communities, and four noxious weed species. This thorough assessment provided the foundation for the project’s mitigation and monitoring efforts.
The project included resource-specific mitigation and monitoring measures as outlined in the Conservation and Reclamation Plan, Environmental Alignment Sheets, and EPEA Approval Conditions. H3M managed an Environmental Issues List to track the progress of reclamation efforts, documenting successful resolutions and proposing corrective actions for unresolved issues. This approach ensured the successful reclamation of the project, restoring the site to its equivalent land capability.
